Information Provided to Us
EDUCATORS
1. Your Information: To get full access to Cyber Range Poulsbo resources, you (an instructor or administrator) must request an account which requires you to supply us with some personally identifiable information (PII), including your name, email address, school/organization, and job title/position. Initially, this information is used to help us determine your eligibility for access.
Once your account is approved and you are authenticated on the Cyber Range, we may record and aggregate which materials are used at each organization (school), how frequently they are used, and which content is most popular. This will help us understand our audience and evaluate the access and use of the Services.
2. Student Information: Educators may enroll their students. Due to the varying age of student users and enrollment preferences of educators, the Cyber Range offers various methods of account provisioning. The method determines what information is collected and used to provide the Services.
- College or University Students. To enroll your students into the Services, Educators will provide student names and school-issued email addresses to facilitate inviting students into a course. To ensure students have access to the correct courses, we keep records of which courses each student is enrolled in.
- K-12 Students. Access is limited to secondary school students above the age of 13. To enroll secondary students into the Services, educators will provision anonymous accounts. We do not collect any personally identifiable information on K-12 students.
