Project Description
Western Washington University's Poulsbo Cyber Range requires a system that replicates the top 100 websites within an isolated environment for cybersecurity exercises. This project builds upon previous work that involved scraping and storing the top websites. The goal is to make this virtual internet fully functional, potentially through the setup of web servers, nameservers, DNS servers, and any necessary internet protocols. This will provide a safe environment for students to apply cybersecurity tools without risking the real world or campus network. Unlike commercial products like the Cisco Virtual Internet, this solution aims to be both cost-effective and tailored specifically to the Poulsbo Cyber Range's unique needs.
